The 704-mile race took place on Saturday July 1st 2006, the race started from Wicklow Sailing Club and sailed clockwise around Ireland keeping all islands to Starboard, the 18-member crew from Western Yacht Club, Kilrush sailed the Volvo 60, Spirit of Kilrush.
